Osyotrovye route
Join us for a hike along the picturesque banks of the Osyotr River! The Osyotr is a unique river whose valley is steeped in historical events from all eras. Several centuries ago, it was navigable and served as an important transport route. Even part of the “Varangians to the Greeks” route ran along the Osyotr!
Ancient City of Perevitsk route
Join us for a one-day hike along the high banks of the Oka River and take in the stunning landscapes! You’ll see the remains of the ancient city of Perevitsk. We’ll traverse steep banks reminiscent of the Caucasus foothills and get a glimpse into the history of medieval Rus.
Ancient Estate in Sennitsy route
We invite you to join a walking tour through the Zaraysk and Ozyory districts, including a visit to the Sennitsy estate.
The route and program are designed for participants with children aged 5 and older.
Frozen Waterfalls on the Gremukha River route
We invite you on a scenic walking tour to explore unique natural sites in the Moscow region. The route includes a visit to the rocky canyon and frozen waterfalls of the Gremukha River (a tributary of the Osyotr River). The canyon and waterfalls are located near the village of Bolshiye Belynichi in the Zaraysk district. This area is remarkable for its dramatic elevation changes, which reach up to 100 meters!
Vozhskaya Zaseka route
Our “Kovcheg” tour club offers this unique route for all hiking enthusiasts interested in the history of our region! The route follows the fortifications of the Vozhskaya Zaseka – one of the most formidable defensive structures of the Russian state in the 16th–17th centuries.
Today, it marks the boundary between Moscow and Ryazan regions.
Snake Stone (or Visiting the Serpent God) route
This is an easy route suitable for people of any fitness level.
According to legend, this stone was a pagan sanctuary dedicated to the god Ura. Our pagan ancestors prayed here for successful hunts, appealed to the forces of nature and spirits of good and evil, and offered sacrifices.
Meteorite Lake (Smerdyachye) route
This is a 2-day route with an overnight stay in the forest.
According to legend, this site is an anomalous zone: being nearby can provoke unusual feelings and emotions. Walking around the lake, visitors can admire the unusual geometric regularity of its shape.
The Vanished Road
This is a 2-day route with an overnight stay in the forest.
Designed for those confident in their abilities, with prior experience in one-day forest hikes, and capable of covering 15–20 km over rough terrain carrying a backpack.
Sholokhovka River Gorge route
