Cycling Route “To the Edge of Geography”
Веломаршрут по древним оборонительным рубежам Московского княжества – вдоль реки Вожа (Вожская засека, Большая Засечная Черта).
A bike route along the ancient defensive lines of the Moscow Principality – following the Vozha River (Vozhskaya Zaseka, Bolshaya Zasechnaya Cherta). The route starts from the village of Rybnoe. Riding along rural roads, we follow the Vozha River and examine historical objects of the defensive line along the way.
“Marshal’s Triangle” Route
Hiking and cycling routes through the native lands of Soviet Marshals Katukov, Meretskov, and Chuikov.
Ancient Path from Kolomna to Zaraysk
A scenic and historically rich cycling route from Kolomna to Zaraysk, taking 2–3 days. The journey begins in central Kolomna and follows the picturesque banks of the Oka and Osyotr Rivers to the Zaraysk Kremlin. Good dirt roads alternate with lightly trafficked asphalt (approximately 50/50).
Oka Beauties route
A very scenic, diverse, and accessible one-day cycling route. The route starts and ends in Kolomna. From Kolomna, we ride along picturesque dirt roads by the Oka River, cross the Osyotr River via a bridge, visit the remains of an ancient mill, pass through a section of pine forest, stop at a beautiful viewpoint, and return to the starting point on a boat along the Oka. This route combines a cycling adventure with a river cruise.
Nikolsky Historic Road
The route passes several unique local sites and offers beautiful landscapes.
We will visit a Moscow Region cedar grove, ride along part of the Nikolsky historic road, and enjoy endless vistas from the high riverbanks.
To the Homeland of the Russian Fleet route
A one- or two-day route, mainly along asphalt roads in the Oka River floodplain.
The route starts and ends in Kolomna. In the two-day version, overnight camping is included.
Designed for cyclists with prior touring experience.
