The route: bus stop “Buzukovo” – Kolomna arboretum – Kazan Church in the village of Grayvorony – along the Kolomenka River – bus stop “Sady Polyana”.
How to get to the starting point: take buses No. 50 Kolomna – Zaprudny or No. 22 Kolomna – Ozyory.

Terrain features, presence of dangerous areas: The terrain is mostly flat with slight elevation changes. Trails may be washed out by precipitation, and debris may form in the forested areas of the route. Be careful of ticks and Sosnowsky’s hogweed in the field area!
Route restrictions and additional conditions for visiting: Fire restrictions may apply along the route; please check in advance for any fire safety regulations. Any work (tree felling, fires, digging holes, etc.) is prohibited within the arboretum.
Campsites, including overnight accommodations and campfires: At the entrance to the arboretum there is an equipped place for a rest (tables, benches) created by the local forestry service.

Detailed route description:
This route runs primarily through forested areas, taking in both natural and cultural landmarks. Overall, it beautifully showcases the beauty of the Kolomenka River’s coastal area. The route’s highlight is the Kolomenka Arboretum, home to over 90 species of trees and shrubs from across the country.
The route is 7 km long, partially passing through villages on unpaved roads. Cell phone service is stable throughout. Part of the route runs along the banks of the Kolomenka River. There are drinking water sources (springs and wells) along the route.
